The THE Awards are widely recognised as the 'Oscars of higher education'.

Each year they attract hundreds of entries that exemplify the talent, dedication and innovation of individuals and teams across all aspects of university life, showing us countless reasons why our institutions continue to prosper.

The THE Awards are free to enter, and open to anyone involved in higher education across the UK. In 2021, for the first time in 17 years, the THE Awards looked beyond the UK to include excellence in Ireland's higher education sector too.

The winners were revealed at an in-person ceremony in London on 25 November 2021.

This year’s ceremony once again served as the celebratory finale to the two-day THE Campus Live UK&IE event at the newly-refurbished Hilton London Metropole hotel. This meant another break from a 17-year THE Awards tradition, with the ceremony moving away from the Grosvenor.
